Pattern: Knitting and Some More's Potholders Pattern (rav link)
    Yarn: Elann Sonata
    Hook: Clover Soft Touch D/3.25mm

I added another repeat and single crocheted around with the red at the very edge, plus made it double thick. Everything else is from the pattern.

You crochet at a much tighter gauge than I do, my crocheting with this yarn and an F hook results in really loose and floppy work. Which is weird because I knit SUPER tightly, so you'd think I'd death grip the hook too, but I crochet super loosely for some reason.

      I LOVE these colors together.

      I totally lied! It was a D/3.25mm hook. I don't know why I thought I used F.

you should totally go down a few sizes. you want the potholders to be nice and stiff. i've been crocheting with D hook using DK weight yarn too.

Ah! OK. I will try a D hook today with this yarn.

I love this one, too. I've been testing this pattern out and it may be the one I go with with the swap. I've got to get more colors, though -- yours look so wonderful.
