My Groovy room again

    Newer Older

Ooh look I have a new bookcase! (in the foreground, to the right) It nearly killed poor Bird putting it up, you could hear him swearing all down the street.

I will gird up my ass again to do something more exciting soon...going to see Jethro Tull tonight, lets see if I can get a camera in!

I think this is one of the most beautiful vibrant rooms I've ever seen, you have a real gift for putting colours and fabrics and treasures together in a spellbinding way!! As for Jethro Tull, that takes me back some - when I was a teenager I used to go to a pub run by Glen Cornick's father in Streatham where some friends played in the a band and through this got to know Glen....long long time ago

Thanks Susie, I love making beautiful spaces! I find it very theraputic. I would love to have had a job in design, but only really know one style...sort of electic-boho-vintage!!

      How was the concert, Laura?

    9. goddessofxanadu 24 months ago | reply

Hi Ann it was wonderful! more than just playing tracks, they did the two whole 'Thick as a Brick' albums with lots of interesting choreographed bits - It was a very good show.

Sadly though I was not allowed to take photographs - it was supposed to be non flash only, so i observed the rules and took some non flash shots, but alas, someone sitting by me WAS using flash, and I got the blame... i guess the (rather fascist, truth to tell) usher could only see flahes going off and I had a camera in my hand, and the couple next to me complained loudly...oh the injustice!!

I don't think i have any that aren't blurry, but i will have a good look, if there is a decent enough one, i will put it up..

Wow great looking room. Couple of friends of mine saw Jethro Tull in Cardiff last
Saturday. They loved it, the concert.

Did you know that this room you've designed with so much love is all over the internet? It seems that MANY people really love your eclectic-boho-vintage style!

Glad you had a great time at the concert, music-wise -- JT does bring back some memories :-)
