Fog over Tomales Bay State Park
The fog here is such an interesting occurrence. While driving in the dark to Point Reyes, at some point it went from crystal clear morning air to pea-soup fog. I wondered if I had made a mistake of getting up so early, but forged on anyway. Right around the time I turned in Olema it was starting to break up a little, and as I traveled through the park to Drake's Beach, it had cleared completely, leaving me with the gorgeous sunrise I posted earlier. However, when the tides were too high to do some hiking there, I decided to backtrack and try Tomales Bay State Park. However, after having clear skies all the way to the park entrance road, I was greeted with this scene as I descended into the state park. I almost had second thoughts here again too, but decided to go play in the fog.
