Poster displaying the biannual human chess match in Marostica

I flew into Venice in late February 2011 to check out the Carnevale. I stayed with my good friend Vickie in Vicenza; on the Saturday before the Carnevale started we took a drive through some small towns, including Marostica, Bassano del Grappa, and then back to Vicenza. Nice way to get over jet lag and check out the real Italy!
