Long exposure shot of a small cascade on the Virgin River, Zion National Park

    Newer Older

I was in Zion National Park in October 2008. The place was absolutely packed so I tried to find a spot away from the crowds - and ended up at the Narrows and found a little cascade with potential. I tried several angles and shots and liked them all. This set contains a bunch of time lapse shots - I wanted to narrow it down but really liked these shots.

Great shot...must try this some time. How long was the exposure?

    7. Alaskan Dude 64 months ago | reply

I'll have to double-check but I think it was 2.5 seconds or less - not long at all.

      RogerWP; here are the specifics:

      ISO 100
      F 22
      2 second exposure
      28mm-105mm set at 53mm

      Piece of cake!
