    46yds./42m., .4.7oz./139g., 3-5WPI - Super-bulky weight

Spun in 2009, this skein is spun into a singles using wool from Shetland sheep, then using repurposed yarn and thread scraps it is plied in beehives, coils, & granny stacks with cotton weaving yarn. Silk, wool, eyelash, boucle, mohair - name the fiber & there's some scraps of it in there! Loaded with texture and interest, this one is the color of a gray flannel suit and blood, bringing to mind a Mad Man at his morning ablutions.

A COLORBOMB Greenish™ product, using 100% recycled/upcycled/repurposed materials. Fibers are either mill ends that would be otherwise discarded, or ethically raised & harvested by small farmers. Embellishments are reclaimed yarn & fabric scraps, as well as thrifted & donated trims. Sustainable creative reuse, made between the tree & the sea in the heart of the Humboldt Nation., wooldancer, Pretty Twists, and 5 other people added this photo to their favorites.
