The Park Was Extended From Gansevoort Street North To 30th Street Where The Elevated Track’s Turn West Around The Hudson Yard’s Development Project To The Javits Convention Center On 34th Street. The Northernmost Section, From 30th To 34th Streets, Is Still Owned By The CSX Railroad Company, But The New York City Planning Commission Has Announced A Move Toward City Ownership Of This Section.
