GeoDigital ILMF 2013 LiDAR as Art Contest

GeoDigital International is pleased to announce the ILMF 2013 “LiDAR as ART” Contest.

To enter, submit your outstanding example(s) of an airborne LiDAR image to this address by January 1, 2013. Each submission will create an entry for you and your employer.

All images will then be posted online for voting that is open to the public through February 5, 2013. Check here for more information about the voting as we get closer to the event. The top three entries will then be showcased in the GeoDigital booth during the ILMF 2013 conference February 11 - 13, 2013 in Denver, Colorado.

Donations in the name of the top three employers will be made to the charity of their choice and the top individual will win an iPad.

RULES

Each image submitted will create an entry for the individual and their employer. Please provide contact and employer information so we can notify you should you be a winner.

Please send Photos in JPEG; Max 15MB, Min 1MB.

You do not have to be present to win.
Individuals can submit up to 5 images per contest. There is no limit for the organization.

The online voting will take place at the GeoDigital website.

Voting for the top 3 images will take place online up to 5 days before the conference opens. You can vote for up to 5 images.
The top 3 entries will be on display in the exhibit hall and online throughout the conference. The organizations and employees will be prominently displayed.
Voting to determine first, second and third place will continue online and at the conference.

In addition to the voting the images will be available for purchase via silent auction.
The winners will be awarded their prizes in a short ceremony on the last day of the exhibits.

The first place organization will have a donation in the amount of $1,000 plus the proceeds from the silent auction made in their name to the charity of their choice. The second and third place organizations will have a donation in the amount of $500 plus the proceeds from the silent auction made in their name to the charity of their choice.

The first place individual will receive an iPad.

All images become the property of GDI.
