In Prayer

    Newer Older

This was spontaneous moment while we were in church. (I always have a camera with me). The light was dreadful and there was a strong morning light glare from the stained glass window.

I think it's loud but no one else does. The D3's shutter is really loud.

For some reason I don't like super soft photos but in this setting (church) and the children - praying... It really works! Really creative and gives a sense of mood... I need to be better about taking my camera with me... And I can only imagine the shutter click.... shhhhhh!!! Also checked out DCE... I didn't know about it but only supports CS3... I'm using CS4... I'll keep looking... found PTlens... guy in my hometown developed it.... Thanks for the info and the views...

The D3's shutter makes me cringe it is so loud this was taken with my Sony which isn't quite so loud.

Everyone in church is now used to me and my camera. I've even dropped filters during services.
