Life is hard.
Stockholm, Sweden.
Taken from the Nockebybron (bron means bridge in Swedish) that connects Nockeby to Kärsön: it's on the road from Alvik to Drottningholm.
These sailboats are from the west coast of Sweden. It goes by several names in Swedish: koster, kosterbåt or allmogebåt. There are two islands in western Sweden called the Koster islands. I assume the name comes from there: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koster_Islands. The sea on the west coast of Sweden is rougher than elsewhere so the extra width of these boats makes them more stable in rough seas.
The Swedish description is here: sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosterb%c3%a5t.
