In early Feb. 2011, a “budget repair” bill was introduced in WI. The bill stripped public workers of their collective bargaining rights under the guise of balancing the budget. The union workers had already agreed to financial concessions to help close the budget gap. This was their reaction.

Gov. Walker later admitted that the union-busting bill didn’t save the state any money.
