    Pattern: Golden Autumn via ravelry
Yarn: Rowan Felted Tweed in Ancient
    Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) & US 4 (3.5 mm)

I made the medium size but probably could have got away with the small—the fit is a little loose, but not loose enough that it will fall of my head. Pattern was clear and concise, but I disliked knitting the left twists. They were rather awkward on the wrists. Despite that though the hat turned out beautiful! And even though I made this later in the season, spring is just around the corner and I believe it will make a fine hat for the milder days.

Lovely hat, I love the colour of it; is the yarn slightly speckled too?

thanks natalie! it's a tweed wool/blend with lots of lovely flecks of colour in it. it's a beautiful yarn to work with... perhaps a little on the pricey side, but so worth it in the end.
