Stick the whole thing in the oven at 500F and simmer in there for about 35 minutes. Take out oven insurance by putting the dutch oven in a roasting pan or something. My oven's dreadfully unbalanced, so I keep a baking stone in there at all times. And an oven thermometer, because my oven's dial is WAY OFF.
