My day to remember 015
November in an Essex garden.
What a cold, windy, wet day, it will give us all time to remember.
Today I can stand in the dry looking out on the cold, wet, windy garden. But that wasn't so for Harry Stanley Butcher when he looked out from H.M.S. Cressy in the middle of the North Sea. That was a day in September 1914. The day when the Cressy was sunk.
