Pickled Cucumber Slices

7 cups sliced cucumbers

1 cup sliced onion

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

2 tablespoons salt

2 cups sugar

1 cup white vinegar

 

Mix celery seed, salt, sugar & vinegar together and heat just enough to disolve sugar. Cool.

Pour over cucumbers & onions, refridgerate for 3 days.

Ready to eat.

 

Sweet and crunchy, very refreshing.

Save pickling brine and use with other vegetables.
