    A bronze age dump of shells-mostly oysters, cockles, and mussels, from Jutland, Denmark. About 4000 BC, mounted on plaster when excavated in the 19th century, to preserve them as they were found.

      Thanks- this is basically a section through a prehistoric rubbish dump- the equivalent of today's landfill sites.
