chicken with alfredo sauce, veggies, breadsticks
i don't know why i never take shots of the food i make considering how many pics i take of coffee drinks i make... i am not nearly as proud of the food as i am of the drinks, but, i do work pretty hard to make yummy and attractive stuff for the family... unfortunately, this first one was a bit rushed - if i continue taking pics, i will do them better from now on :P
so, here is some pasta i bought at World Market in El Paso, some alfredo sauce over some sliced peppers (raw! just toss them into the pasta right before you serve it and they warm up quick but are still crisp and tasty), chicken baked (covered) in olive oil and seasonings, with a couple tomato strips on top... the breadsticks is some focaccia bread, sliced up, brush with seasoned olive oil and fry it up in a pan like bruschetta - these particular ones got a little over-done, but they were still good... i'd never tried it before and we were very pleased with the results...
