4. glass head pins
January 4, 2014
I have been sleeping in like never before. And it is going to come back to bite me next week. Regardless, I'm soaking it in.
After coffee and breakfast, I went upstairs to sew for the first time of the day. 25% of triangle seams finished.
30 day shred. Really loving this more than I thought.
Quick shower and to lunch and Kate's basketball game.
On the way home, I looked up the main post office hours and then hustled to get the packages sent. I don't think I'll be leaving the house on Monday at all.
Whole Foods was packed. I called Emily for the recipe to make sure I got everything I needed. In the end, I forgot the rice. And tortillas. And balsamic vinegar.
Once the groceries were put away (and the fridge had been cleaned out), I took down all the outside Christmas decorations. Then it was back to the sewing machine for the second 25% of triangle sewing.
While the chicken was roasting, I scurried to the grocery to get the three things I forgot. I made myself a margarita, we ate a family dinner. Fatty and I watched The Great Gatsby (did not like it at all - struggled to stay awake) and the girls were back at Dr. Who.
Overall, triangles and sun on glass head pins made me ridiculously happy today. Who knew?
