The Obelisk of Constantine

This is the largest obelisk in the world, built by Thutmose III in the 15th century B.C., then moved to Rome by Constantius in the 4th century A.D. and erected in the Circus Maximus. Pope Sixtus V erected it in its current location, outside St. John Lateran.
