FRED PHELPS OBERLIN COLLEGE OHIO GAY PROTEST FUNERAL

Oberlin College, in Oberlin Ohio, on Tuesday May 10, 2000, Gay and Lesbian students kiss in front of the group of anti homosexual protestors. The protests were brought into Oberlin by Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., and have also been protesting the General Conference of the United Methodist Church in Cleveland Ohio. Several hundred Oberlin College students turned out to rally against the out-of-town protesters. (AP Photo/The Morning Journal, Paul M. Walsh) NOTE!!! THIS PHOTO WON FIRST PLACE NEWS 2001 in THE ASSOCIATED PRESS AP OHIO CONTEST, GENERAL NEWS DIVISION. But ironically AP wouldn't run this photo on the wire service at the time when it was shot. No one really wants to see photos or mention of Fred Phelps name. This is the same group that protests at Military Funerals. The case will be heard in front of the Supreme Court if they allowed to do this. Please feel free to use this image. please give photo credit.
