Amy Butler Weekender bag in Echino Buck from The Intrepid Thread. This is by far the most complicated thing I have ever made but it turned out great and I would absolutely make another one.

So I am seriously considering ordering the pink echino bucks to make this bag a twin sister with black piping.... and b/w gingham lining. Seriously seriously considering it!

You should do it! Some sick part of me wants to make another one for my mom for Christmas. The cutting is the most painful part of the whole project... and hand sewing in the lining.

I don't mind hand sewing at all, I know that this one will be a lot tougher than a binding or something, but I am most worried about sewing all those layers.... I have heard that the pattern has a ridiculous amount of extra fabric... how much buck fabric did you use, do you know?
