Hello again today. I went on Ravelry today and bought this gorgeous pattern. I'm thrilled that you made it available! I hope that I am skilled enough to actually make it. I'm so excited. You said that you have done this twice using different yarns. Could you please tell me which two weights you used for the different sizes? Wish me luck! And thank you so much for the pattern!

Hi Ann and thank you! I hope you'll enjoy knitting it and if you need help with the pattern don't hesitate to ask! And good luck!

The first version is the same as in the pattern, the two- colored one. I used sport-weight Manos Serena and US size 6 needles. For the larger all-white shawl I used Rowan Kid Classic and US size 9 needles. Kid Classic is "officially" aran- weight but actually much thinner. It gives the gauge of an aran-weight yarn because the mohair in it makes it thicker. A very good shawl yarn.
