      I'm a guy who doesn't know a thing about knitting. I don't care about knitting. But this picture stopped me in my tracks and I said, "Hey, that's a really nice sweater!" If you can do that to me, you did a great job with your needles ... and your camera.

      Can you suggest some other yarns which can be used for this sweater? I'm having troubles finding the Jaeger Extra Fine Merino.

      All dk-weight yarns should be fine. DK-weight yarns usually have a label which says that the gauge is 22 sts / 4" or 10 cm.
      Wool and merino wool are great, I wouldn't use pure cotton though.
