Full fan and puffing of all the right feathers. The wings are dragging o the ground. How could the hen resist? But she did, at least this morning.

 

These photos are from an open oak forest on a hillside on the border of Spring Lake Park and Annadel State Park. I am glad that California has found a way to keep these gems open. Now, we must find a way to pay for maintenance and extension.
