I wanted to avoid the tourist Mexican food at Playa del Carmen and go for the real deal, so we went a block or two out of the tourist area to this run down little place where I had an amazing Mayan style pork chop (okay, since the menu said Mayan style maybe it was still a little bit tourist, but I thought it was a hell of a lot more authentic than the Señor Frog's by the ferry terminal...)
