chicken patties
Rachel bought me a lovely Christmas present; "The Kitchen Diaries" by Nigel Slater, which is a cookbook and a diary (his, from 2004) in one. These chicken patties with pancetta and rosemary are one of his recipes. I made them for the first time yesterday (but not the last!) - they were _delicious_! Fluffy roast potatoes, parsnips Duchesse, and braised Sweetheart cabbage to accompany, smoked salmon mousse before, the remains of the Christmas pudding afterwards. Yum.
