Amount: 8 skeins 'Mountain Mahogany'; 1 skein (partial) 'Autumn Dogwood)
    Needles: 5.0mm/US8

*The original pattern was written for a child. I modified it pretty heavily to fit an adult's shape. Most severe modification happened to sleeve caps, neck opening and hood.

I'm thinking more hobbit than Swedish elf - don't you think every hobbit in the Shire ought to be sporting one of these? I love this sweater so much!

bluegarter.knits: Yes Sarah - So hobbit I can't stand it. Maybe that's why I love it so much...?

I love the fact that it is a beautiful sweater, appealling, functional, and garter stitch. Let us all sing the praises of the sometimes-maligned garter stitch!
