Tree Swallow at Nest Box!
Today we went down to Windsor, Vermont to join some other birders on a birding walk around Lake Runnemede, where I went in November and saw the Red-throated Loon. We started at 7:30 and went for three hours, collecting an impressive list of birds, including the first Evening Grosbeak that I've seen in ages. There were also these tree swallow boxes that were quickly occupied by the arriving birds. Digiscoped with the walk leader's scope.
