gardein with broccoli cheese and rice casserole

This is my first attempt at a broccoli cheese and rice casserole. It turned out too thick and dry. More sauce next time because the rice absorbs the moisture. The broccoli was overcooked too but I don't know what to do about that... it was raw when I added it. The gardein is okay unbreaded, which is how I would normally cook it. The gardein had just a little bit of a gluten flavor if you know what I mean..... breaded it looses this flavor.
