Disneyland Visit - 2015-11-22 - World of Disney - Holiday Merchandise Dept - Frozen Bell Ornaments
World of Disney. Holiday department. Frozen Bell Ornaments, including Anna and Elsa in one set, and Summer and Winter Olaf in another set. $16.95 for set of 2 ornaments.
I visited Disneyland Resort for a few hours today. It was very warm, and DLR was moderately crowded. I got four more boxes of the Season's Greetings 2015 Snowflake Mystery Pin collection, and got two new pins but six duplicates, which I will offer for sale in a separate post. There were many new ornaments and other merchandise, including ones for Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. There was a new line of small plush Princess dolls. So far they have released Anna, Elsa and Ariel, and I got one of each. There were no more Diamond Celebration LE Aurora dolls to be found, so it looks like they are finally sold out. They lasted about 4 1/2 months, a surprisingly long time (it was LE 3000). It's too bad that Disney Store LE Princess dolls can't last as long.
On Main Street they had the big Christmas tree up, and of course various Winter Holiday decorations and merchandise throughout Disneyland. I was happy to see a brand new Frozen window display in the Emporium. As with the other new window displays, there were two scenes that rotated in and out of view. One had Snow Queen Elsa and Olaf on North Mountain. The other had Anna and Kristoff in their winter gear in front of Arendelle Castle, with Anna holding carrots behind her back for Sven. They were extremely well done, and looked like larger versions of the upcoming painted maquettes from Enesco/Walt Disney Archives. Elsa and Olaf rotated in place, but Anna and Kristoff were static. I also took photos of the Toy Story window display, which has been up for several months.
I got the #1 high score of the day on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. I ate lunch and then left the Park while the Disneyland Christmas Parade was winding down Main Street.
