Bøgedal No 184

A bottle of Bøgedal No 184 from Bøgedal Bryghus in Vejle, Denmark, at Bar & Cigar in Oslo.

This 6,3% abv beer is a traditional ale brewed with "Gylden, Perle, Cascade and Tettnang" on 16 September 2009 and bottled on 28 September. It poured a hazy brown color with a beige head. Aroma has some caramel sweetness to it with notes of bread yeast. Mouthfeel is medium with a light carbonation. The taste is sweet too, with notes of caramel and ripe apples. A mild bitterness from the hops linger in the aftertaste. A very drinkable beer.
