Birra Amiata Aldobrandesca
A bottle of Aldobrandesca from Birra Amiata in Arcidosso, Italy.
This 5,5% abv strong beer poured a hazy golden color with a large white head. The aroma was sour, in that typical south Belgian way (farm ale), with hints of yeast. The flavor was sour with fruity hop notes but a bit thin, at least in my opinion. An OK brew but not very exciting.
We also had a Bastarda Doppia from the same brewery, but I had already tried it in Milan.
