Professional education boosts regional development in Georgia

AKHMETA. September 2011 - The milk processing plant in Akhmeta provides up-to-date technology for making famous Georgian cheese – tushuri and guda. In addition, it serves the students of professional courses as a practical training site.

This initiative is built on UNDP’s successful experience in the other regions of Georgia – Shida Kartli and Kakheti, where food processing plants are merged with professional colleges.
