Muscat - Leaving Sultan Qaboos Port
The shot was taking in a windy day, just before sunset where this giant cruise was leaving the sultan Qaoos port in the capital Muscat in Oman.
It was hard to get a clean shot due to the showers from the waves, showering both me & my cam. i had to stop and clean the lens & the grad ND4 filter after each shot.
I set the cam to Aperture mode :( set " f/11 for a good DOF, & ISO to 100 for best quality. However, this expanded the exposure to 0.6 second!! this time is considered long when shooting a moving subject like the ship in the shot. as you can notie, the blurred ship is quite noticable!! I wished that I've had a better chance to capture it with faster shutter speed... maybe next time :D
"Port Sultan Qaboos is one of the main commercial ports in Oman. It is Oman's premier maritime gateway, enjoying a prime location in the politically stable sultanate. Situated in a natural harbour 250 km south of the Strait of Hormuz on the Indian Ocean coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Port Sultan Qaboos' location makes it an ideal hub, not only for the Persian Gulf but also the Indian sub-continent and markets in East and South Africa." Wikipedia
