I'll be seeing a lot of this view quite soon. Pretty pleased with this final set up - lots of hand positions, multi-layer Cinelli tape, a tri-bar pad set velcro-ed on for a super-comfy rest / cruise control position, a climbing rest place and the usual grip range of the loops. It's taken a while to get right, the only way to find you need something or know where you need the comfort is to spend a lot of hours with it. Some brilliant Specialized BG gel mitts help too, initially I thought they were over-padded but now I think there's no such thing as too much bar/hand cush.
A dinky Exposure Spark does basic lighting at minimal weight with replaceable batteries and the VDO x2 is so simple even I can use it easily. Map and compass for 'keep it real' / luddite preferences. I may get lost, but the route wasn't pioneered with GPS and the notes / maps are good.
