Thank you Helen for asking the tough questions and trying to get at the truth. "Where is everybody?" We're online and we've got your back and we're ever grateful. Thank you internet and reddit and Micah for organizing this. way to go!!!!

Awesome, I'm proud of everyone who organized and contributed. Too bad the MSM may not pick it up. I hope Dana Perino gets asked about this!

Helen - an American hero. Keep up the great work!

It's too bad the Dems failed to do the job we asked them to do after the last election cycle... they had the opportunity to clean up the ReichWingNuts mess... but didn't do anything of real value... like protect the Constitution... uphold citizen's rights... hold the Emperor accountable... nothing...

We need Helen Thomas now more than ever before.

that's a great thing about getting older. there's not really any reason not to speak your mind anymore. sometimes you piss people off by saying what no one else will say, and sometimes you get flowers. sometimes both.

    go helen go!

    p.s. that's a lot of flowers!
  • Looja Tuladhar 7y

Thanks, Helen! Keep up the good work.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called The Common Threads Project, and we'd love to have this added to the group! Photos submitted to the project need to have special tags added to them. I'm sending you a flickr mail with instructions for that, Micah.

Just think of this: If the entire gaggle of U.S. journalists had Helen Thomas's integrity, determination and dedication to getting the story out, the war in Iraq would never have happened. Long live Helen Thomas and her best buddy--the U.S. Constitution!
  • Karmen Smith 7y

Helen Thomas, I admire you, respect you and am so grateful for your tenacity for truth in the face of unbelievable spin and stonewalling! Wow! What a role model for young journalists!
  • wharfrat1490 7y

God bless Helen Thomas. May she never, never die.
  • Lisa 7y

Helen Thomas spoke at my high school graduation in 1980. I wish that I had paid more attention to what she said then! She is the ONLY reporter that asks the hard questions. Dana Perrino should have listened to her parents.. respect your elders!
I wish I had found this earlier. I would have liked to contribute!

Helen is more beautiful than any of the flowers!
  • sgilner 7y

helen thomas is a national treasure! i wish i had known about this before before it closed. next time we should buy her some nice jewelry. flowers are lovely, but diamonds are forever. maybe not diamonds, most of them are covered in blood. and if there ever was a woman who deserved lots of jewels, it's helen (i ain't afraid of no liars) thomas! long may she report.
  • mskennard 7y

I love Helen, but isn't there something we could get organized to send the reporters who don't ask the tough questions? (Or any questions at all!) If some of these other so-called journalists would back Helen up, maybe we would get some real answers!

Bravo Helen! Thank you on the behalf of all Americans!

I just wanted to say hello, and congrats to Helen for all the flowers.
I have only been to flickr a couple of times, the first one was to lend
non financial support to the passionately pink for the cure foundation,
It created some disturbance that my picture was not pink, and that I did
not have a pink one to share. This time I get the feeling that there is some democrat bashing going on in here. I don't want to spam or bash
    anyone for their political choices.

I am amazed that people can't take honesty.
what's happened to the land of free speech?
they want journalists that are muzzled, on a rein, and who have self-censorship.
It's going to be downhill from here.
