Angels Landing - Zion National Park
It is a 5 mile round trip trail to the top of Angels Landing that climbs 1520 feet, and ends at a summit of 5,785 feet. Before climbing, the NPS warns you that high winds and slippery surfaces are but a few of the dangers you may encounter. There have been 5 fatalities from falling, and possibly more. However, fatality numbers are higher in other areas of the park that appear to be safer.
This is one of the best views looking into Zion Canyon that was well worth the 3 - 4 hours we spent going through steep inclines and navigating narrow trail ridges
