North Breakwater Outer Lighthouse in the Glass

    Newer Older

Little did I know when I snapped the previous photo... what would have to happen to get this shot... ( 55 seconds later, I made it by like 5 seconds ).. I started walking down the trail and quickly realized I needed to RUN!
So after just running for it ( maybe 150 yards ) I came flying into the spot and snagged this one. There was another photographer there taking the same shot just laughing . This was so fun!

Jim, AWEMAZING! AWESOME effort, perfect shot! EVERYTHING about this capture is dynamic with that awesome reflection a bonus!

Two summers ago (before I discovered birds) I was chasing sunsets all over the place. Once I was in downtown Okazaki when the sun started to set and I ran about 2 miles past one river and to the levee of a second river. I don't think I got a decent shot at all!
