Maura, Brunei Darussalam (Aug. 8, 2005) - A pair of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) divers are lowered from the rescue and salvage ship USS Safeguard (ARS 50) during familiarization dives conducted during the Brunei phase of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT is an annual series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asian nations designed to enhance interoperability of the respective sea services.
