Church Of St. Peter And St. Paul

This is the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, located in the Czech town of Broumov, about 4 miles from the Polish border.

The church was established by abbot Martin I in 1258, the same year as the town. Originaly a Gothic design, the church was destroyed in a fire in 1452. The church was rebuilt four years later.

Abbot Tomáš Sartorius had a new church built on the foundations of the original church in 1682, bu it was once again destroyed by fire again in 1757.
