What do you see?

    Newer Older

Some of you already know this, but I've lived most my life in Denver, then we moved to Oklahoma. I can't explain it right, but the clouds here look so different, almost more 3D. I know it sounds weird, but they just amaze me here. I wish I could do them justice, maybe someday. There is a bridge they are repairing and they have a temporary light. So as I was waiting for it to turn green, I starting taking pictures of these gorgeous clouds.

When my kids start rough housing in the car, I'll start saying something like "I see a turtle" or "An elephant." and they will say "where" and then they will start telling me what they see. So far I can see a chicken and a person laying face down. Can you see them?

It's a rubber chicken and it's proportionally way bigger than the person laying down. (to me, that is)

We often played those games on long trips as kids.

As for the 3D'ness of the clouds it might be different altitudes of the cities, so cloudbase is lower making the depth of field more pronounced?

(You can stop trying to do them justice - you got it perfect already)
