Grass Mountain Summit Hike

My favorite part of Lows Lake, Bog River, and Hitchins Pond is the fact that the Bog River is ringed by mountains on the north shore.

These mountains, over 1000ft above the lake, not only offer a nice diversion from long days of paddling, but they offer a spectacular vantage point to view the flow as well as the High Peaks and beyond.

The trail to the top of Grass Mountain is about 1/2 mile but it's steep with bare rock slabs and some steeper short faces. Great little hike!!!
