Storm Clearing Over South Pond and Blue Mtn.
series of 8 second exposures about 20 minutes after sunset to create this 4 image pano.
There were several ideas I had in mind, unfortunately the weather, and conditions collaborated to put them all into one photo, making the result not what I wanted. I was hoping for lots of wind to create a pastel like long exposure where the water was creamy and the trees extremely soft or a glass like surface where everything was clear and sharp.
What I got was some waves/motion up in the front of the photo and the trees, and some glassy water towards the island in the center. Suffice to say I wasn't completely happy.
