25 miles to Campsite 81A
After 25 miles and 10 hours on the river looking for a vacant campsite is one of the least pleasant things in life.
We were certain after the first 4 campsites we'd planned on camping at (89-82) were taken that we'd be scrounging for some flat dry ground by headlamp. Turned out this was a beautiful and big campsite complete with dry stacked wood, two fire rings, and a enough space for a large group.
Really it was too nice because I stayed up too late by the fire enjoying the site (and lack of bugs). After I nodded off for the 3rd time it was time for bed as seen in the photo.
