Me And My Ball And Chain

Ahh, the Gregory Denali Pro. 7000 cubic inches of mountain ready storage. Considering I carry no extra clothing (compared to the average person), and my food is measured like an inmates in a POW camp, I still managed to stuff 40lbs into that bad boy, NOT counting the camera gear which I estimate to weigh about 3lbs but is entirely contained in the Lowepro 65AW.

It's a great pack, love many of the features. It's heavy, big, and bulky but it's what you need in winter or for long distance unsupported trips. I really only use it over the winter though. i try to never haul 7000ci in any season but bulky insulation and fuel bottles make a big pack sort of a necessity. I can't imagine filling this thing in the summer, it would have to weigh 75-100lbs since it would have to be food and hard gear rather than bulky insulation.
