Summit Panorama From Rooster Comb Mtn (1-1-08)
Well I made it to the summit with a few minutes to spare but the view of a sunrise that should have occurred just to the left of Keene Valley (the cleft to the right hand side of the image) never happened. Oh sure the sun rose, but not for the lens of my camera or my eyes. The cloud cover was too thick.
So the 9lb tripod was carried in vain as I can't say I got a single shot I was happy with. Still a nice hike and a great start to the new year.
Happy New Year!!!
