Wisps of Dusk

Sunset over the Chicago skyline. I always noticed the clouds over the city give an eerie glow immediately after sunset, but this was always observed from within the city itself. Jutting out to Lake Michigan, parallel with Navy Pier: Olive Park offers a somewhat disconnected view of the northern skyscrapers of the city.

Large sized picture on black.

Since it's winter and the sun sets quite early, it's luck the boss approved my request for an early start to the weekend. The railing and benches are in frame because of the purpose for being out here. This was caught while on a stroll for possible locations for mattsabo17's seasons idea.
