Henry Kissinger

Rental home of:

Henry Kissinger (Secretary of State under Nixon)

Located: 3026 P Street NW

---Kissinger moved into this home in the waining months of the Ford presidency and stayed on after linking up with the Georgetown University's Center for Strategic and International Studies where he taught diplomacy at the univeristy's School of Foreign Service.

---The Kissingers are believed to have rented this home for less than the asking rental of $2500/monthly because of the security improvements. Those imporvements included installation of bullet-proof glass over the front windows, and new door/window locks requiring 70 keys, mostly for use by the security agents, who also had to outfit their command center room inside.
