Towers Above Heaven
Well, what can I say, this is my first attempt at shooting a LFE (low fog event) and the weather gods must be watching over me as we were treated with a fantastic display of cotton candy goodness this morning. Now I understood why a LFE is so popular with local photographers here; it is an amazing scene. The fogs were a bit static this morning but a shutter speed of 20 seconds was enough to allow a very subtle sense of movement to add a bit more drama to the comp.
I took about 300 shots this morning but of course only a few will be processed and here is one. This scene literally looks like the two towers of the GGB rose above the clouds, but they are indeed low fog. A big thanks to Jeff Lewis www.flickr.com/photos/landescapephotography/ for forecasting this morning's event. Well, until next time, happy Black Friday, everyone.
