Scandinavia 2012
For a second summer, architecture graduate and undergraduate students embarked on an extensive study program of the architectural marvels of Scandinavia. Led by Professor of the Practice Peter Noonan and Professor Emeritus Karl Du Puy, 16 students spent four weeks touring the vibrant cities and beautiful countryside of Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Preceded by a two-week course in College Park, the program allowed students to see classroom concepts manifested in the built environment, learning how culture and place influence some of the most significant architecture in the world.
